Mild Steel Copper Wash Welded Mesh Providing Minimal Early Corrosion Resistance

Our self-colored steel welded mesh is usually supplied with a thin copper-washed coating that provides minimal early corrosion resistance and is used as a catalyst during any further welding process. Use for security cages, gabions, and dog runs.

It has a copper layer after copper washed, which has several advantages, including better corrosion resistance and conductivity, as well as giving the mesh a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Features

  • Raw material: Copper washed direct drawn steel wire (conforming to BS 1052:1980)
  • Wire diameter: 2.00 mm – 4.75 mm
  • Surface treatment: Hot dip galvanized (conforming to BS EN ISO 1461:2009)
